JJRC P130 Unbox Mini FPV Racing Drone with 1806 motors
JJRC P130 is the first mini 130mm size FPV Racing Drone with 1806 motors, which are really powerful, compare to smaller ones – 1104 or 1306. P130 has amazing camo paint on carbon parts and even on props ( this is what I always wanted to see on my drone 🙂 ). When we order RTF set, we get everything what we need to start racing. This racing drone is good for FPV amateurs, because frame is super tough and aluminum spacers are super big.
Here is a Specification:
Carbon fieber frame with 3mm arms
Weight with battery: 280g
Motors: 1806 2300KV Motor
ESC : Flycolor 12A BLHELI

JJRC P130 is out in 3 different color versions, I received from Gearbest.com ” Green Camo” version.
Inside the box we will found two two foam boxes which well secured goods inside, in first one is a drone and in the second is a FlySky FS i6.
JJRC P130 looks delicous, I simply love this camo painting 😉 . First thing which I noticed are HUGE motors compare to frame size, 1806 looks really big. BiG silver spacers looks like really tought, I think it will be quite hard to rip out screws from inside while we crash. Top plate thickenss is 2 mm and bottom 3mm so it could be indestructible 😎 .
Here is P130 in 360
Under the drone we can find foam tape, which protects ESC and leds, I am not sure if this is bad or good idea, but if we consider that this is mini 130size drone then this idea could be not that bad. Mini leds light are under every motor and are really bright, one the fron are blue and on the back are reds.
Between bottom plate and and foam tape we can find ESC.
In the 1st mini box we can also find , battery star, 8 props, battery and charger.
Frame qulity is really high, I can’t find any weak spot, even FC/PDB spacer are aluminum so this drone is ready for some serious racing. Big spacer are really big and aluminum, only this foam tape look mhmmm “weird “. I am not sure if foam will stay long if we crash a lot but to make it stay longer we can mount battery under drone so it will secure a bit bottom part and it will prevent rip out top plate if we crash really hard.
Installed flight controller is Naze32 with cleanflight, I like that it has pins so we can easily upgrade esc to new firmware or change some settings. PDB board under FC can provide 5V 2amps so this is more than needed, also PDB has some switches form left/right side.
Funny thing is a power cable which is UBER huge, compare to battery cable 2. I think this could be bit smaller to save some weight , juts check how big it’s.
Motors JJRC Pro X1806 2300KV are premium qualiy, these working smooth and should provide great thrust. Mostly 2300kV is using for 4″ props where on 3s can provide more than 400grams per motor but 2300KV could be not enought for this small 3″ ( I think minimum should 4000KV , ). Anyway 3″ props are nothing for these big motors , I am uber curious how It will work.
FPV camera is 800TVL CMOS with 40channels 25mw TX, it works very well and it’s light weight. Camer is mount to top plate and and can be easily tilted, also in bag we can find extra parts to mount even a bigger camera.
Propos 3045BN are really stiff, camo paint on these is placed very well so it will be not that easy to scratch it out 🙂 .
RC radio is a standard FlySky FS i6 , recever s mounted under the bottom plate.
Battery came with green bag and it’s 3s 850mah 30C . This lipo should be not bad because even if these motors are huge are power hungry then we will use 3″ props so this battery should provide enough juice. Charger is a well knowed B3 , it works very good and can charge 2s and 3s battery:) .
JJRC P130 seems to be good racing mini drone, it has everything buld in what is needed and quality compare to price is great. I am suprised that JJRC decide to use such a big motors for this small drone. My first impression whent I thinking about this drone is ” Redy for crashes “, whole construction is really tough and huge motors are cherry on top. In next part we will fly and do some crash tests 🙂
