Fotokite Phi: The lightest Quadcopter for GoPro

Do you like it ?0

Fotokite’s first consumer offering is the lightest GoPro-carrying quadcopter on the market, aiming to be the easiest way to secure beautiful aerial footage.

We have covered a bunch of awesome drones here in the past. The Fotokite Phi happens to be a foldable drone that holds your GoPro, allowing you to produce great aerial video. It operates on a tether and can be deployed in seconds. The electronic leash lets you control your Fotokite Phi with simple gestures. The drone follows you and lasts up to 15 minutes in the air.

The Fotokite Phi is designed to get your birds-eye perspectives as painlessly as possible. Lightweight at 12oz (350g) and folding to the size of a thermos, you can throw the Phi into your backpack and bring it anywhere. Take it out, unfold it, point in the direction you’d like it to fly, and it’ll fly there like a kite. Capture aerial photos and videos elegantly, safely and quickly, before the moment is gone.

Fotokite Phi uses soft, slow spinning propellers with prop guards for safety. The above video shows what you get. More information is available on Indiegogo.
